While studies show that 2,000 IU to 10,000 IU per day may be needed for optimal health, most Americans get less than 400 IU. Vitamin-D 5000 IU is designed for those who do not get 30 minutes of sun exposure (no sunblock) per day. Those who do may wish to use Vitamin-D 2000 IU instead.
One or two capsules daily, preferably with meals.
Microcrystalline cellulose, pullulan (vegetable capsule).
Vitamin-D 5000 IU does not contain artificial colorings or flavorings, GMO's, sugar, soy, yeast, dairy, gluten or wheat. It is suitable for vegetarians.
