The name English Breakfast evolved for hearty, 'Morning Cuppa' black teas that were suitable with milk. English tea lovers have given this flavor profile tremendous popularity in the last 40-50 years. Typically, the blend has included a mix of Chinese, Sri lankan and Indian black teas. Most tea merchants offer their own version of the blend.

Our English Breakfast is a blend of 100% Organic Indian Assam and 100% Organic Chinese Yunnan black teas.
Full-bodied texture with strong, hearty flavor that has mild smokiness.

Practicing the art on a daily basis in our teahouses in Portland, Oregon, we are a group of tea enthusiasts from different backgrounds and cultures. We travel, learn, take delight and seek to offer pure leaf teas with great flavor, artistry and soul. Our reward comes through actions that help people's lives, sustain the art of tea and promise a healthy environment.
Use one teaspoon of leaf in eight ounces of non-chlorinated water at 180F for three minutes.
