Vanilla Soda Bread
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/3 cup cane sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 large egg, lightly beaten
2 cups 2% milk
1/4 cup vanilla extract
1/4 cup butter, melted
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease a 9 x 7-inch baking pan.
Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Stir milk, egg and vanilla together and add to dry ingredients. Stir until just moist. Stir in melted butter.
Pour into pan. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until center tests done with a fork.
Product should be stored tightly sealed and away from fluctuating or extreme temperatures and light.
