Origin - Blend Hibiscus
Comprising a large genus of about 200-220 species of flowering plants in the family Malvaceae, Hibiscus is native to warm temperate, subtropical and tropical regions throughout the world. It is the state flower of Hawaii and the national flower of Malaysia. Depending on the variety, Hibiscus flowers are large, conspicuous, trumpet-shaped, with five petals, ranging from white to pink, red, purple or yellow, and from 4-15 cm broad size.
Although called a root, Ginger is actually the rhizome (horizontal stem of a plant that often sends out roots) of the plant Zingiber officinale. We use organic dried ginger with mildly spicy flavor undertones to balance the sweet lushness of Hibiscus in this blend. Ginger is known to be a good remedy for digestive problems.
To provide consistency in flavor, we hand blend in small batches.

Brew one teaspoon of leaf in twelve ounces of pure spring or filtered water at 185F for four minutes. Leaf can be infused at least three times.
