Basic Cooking Instructions
1 cup Grande Whole Grains (Cereal/Salad/Pilaf)
2 1/2 cups Water or Broth or Juice
Place 1 cup Grande Whole Grains and 2 1/2 cups water in a medium-sized pan. Bring the water to a boil, cover and lower heat to simmer. Cook for 1 hour, or until liquid is absorbed. Makes 4 servings.
Try it for breakfast using apple juice for liquid. Can be eaten hot or cold with a fresh fruit topping.
Try it for lunch for use in salads, soups or in pita breads.
Try it for dinner as a pilaf or stir-fry with vegetables. Use as a side dish instead of rice or pasta.
