Bring to a boil, then let simmer for 40 minutes. If you desired larger, softer barley, continue to simmer for an additional 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. The hull-less barley multiplies like a bean. Yields 3 cups of cooked hull-less barley. Great with your favorite gravy, added to soups, or as a breakfast cereal.
