Unlike traditional teat that are oxidized for up to 8 hours, pu•erh undergoes a unique 60-day fermentation process resulting in bold, earthy flavors with hints of malt and many health benefits, touted for thousands of years. Traditional Chinese pu•erh tea is often found in brick form, whereby the pu•erh tea leaves have been compressed, then wrapped and stored in a cool dry place. Pu•erh bricks can be aged for months, years, and even decades, increasing their value, health properties and taste.
