Any chaiwallah in India will offer a passerby a strong spicy cup of chai which at once warms and enriches your day. With its sweet creamy texture and rich spiciness, it is a real life force on a cool winter morning. Drop in for a chat with friends and "chai" is what you will be offered.
For this blend I use a mellow fragrant tea so you can taste the intensity of the cloves, pepper, lemon grass and cardamom in my typically Indian Chai.
This tea is grown organically so all who live on the estate, from the tea pickers, to the wildlife and of course the tea bushes themselves, can flourish in an environment free of chemical pesticides.
Demeter certifies this product as organic. This reflects a commitment to biodiversity, soil husbandry, livestock integration and the prohibition of genetically engineered organisms.
To get the best from my Chai tea, brew one sachet per person in freshly boiled water for up to 3 minutes. Add milk or cream and sugar or honey to taste.
Black tea, ginger, lemongrass, pepper, cardamom seeds, cloves.
All ingredients are organic/biodynamic
