This special, hand-selected tea contains silvery-white unopened leaf tips. White tea is the least processed of all teas and is steamed immediately after picking to prevent any oxidation of the leaves. This particular tea is very smooth with delicate floral notes. The liquor is golden and has a light body. Truly a remarkably pleasant and drinkable tea.
Botanical name: Camellia sinensis
Pour simmering water (185F) over 2 tsp in a cup. Steep for 4 to 5 min. Strain over ice. Also makes a great hot tea – 1 tsp per cup.
